English 4, post 1, ´A country you would like to visit´

The country I would like to visit is New Zealand, my aunt lives there for about 15 years and I would love to go to see her.

New Zealand is a very quiet and safe country, the weather is not as hot as here, and there is a lot of wind all summer long.

With my mom we are planning a trip to New Zealand in the near future to see my cousins and my aunt, they came to Chile in 2010, so we haven't seen each other for a long time. I would also like to go to Queenstown because they say that is the adventure capital of New Zealand.

It would be great to live for a while in New Zealand, being a country with so much security, the thefts are almost nonexistent and you should not be worried in the street that they will steal your cell phone or enter your home while you are not there, the government has handled very well the issue of the pandemic because there is no case of covid and have never had to wear a mask when going out.

    I think New Zealand is wonderful, my cousin traveled a couple of years ago and has beautiful pictures, hopefully you can travel soon

A meal or food I really like

I don't really have a favorite kind of food, it's very hard to choose one when I like almost all of them; I really like pasta, with tomato sauce, cream and mushrooms or just with cheese, there are so many different ways to eat pasta that I love, I also really like pizza, mashed potatoes and rice. I am a vegetarian so, I eat a lot of vegetables and legumes, my favorites are broccoli, cabbage and black beans, my mom cooks very well so everything she makes is delicious and that's why I like so many different kinds of food. Now we are in tangerine season, I love tangerines, they are my favorite fruit along with raspberries. I also love chocolate it's something I couldn't live without. As I am a vegetarian I care a lot about having a balanced diet so I eat fruits and vegetables every day, plus I eat legumes quite often. Since I stopped eating meat I feel more energetic and much healthier.

A photo and its story

This photo is very important for me, it was the first concert I went to, so it was a very special moment, Green Day was my favorite band at that time, and when they gave me the tickets for the concert I was very happy and excited, that day has been one of the happiest of my life, I had a great time and I will always remember that moment. This photo is from 2017, the concert was on a Saturday and since it was in Santiago I had to travel there on Friday, I still remember that a few days later I had a presentation at school and my friends told me not to shout too much at the concert to take care of my voice. I went to the concert with my godmother, she has been in all the important moments of my life, so that day was very special. I had a great time that day it was a lot of fun and I would like to go to a concert again. Who I am?

  Hi!! my name is Antonia and I am 18 years old, I live near Chillán, but I was born and I spent my childhood in Santiago. Now I´m in the second year of biochemistry at university. I have been a vegetarian for two years, but my goal is to become a vegan, I love animals specially my dog named Estrella, I live with her and my mom, it is a small family but with a lot of love. My tastes in music are very diverse, but mainly I listen to pop music.
