Only murders in the building, is a new series from star+, I watched the whole thing in two days, here's a little review. The first seconds of this series are very striking. Some cops enter a building while 2 of the 3 main characters are coming down the stairs screaming, they go looking for the other main character, Selena Gomez (she is the reason I watched the series), and they find Selena on her knees with a bloody body and she tells them: It's not what you think. This series is a satire towards the criminal shows that were very fashionable. In this series the 3 characters are fans of a crime podcast, this podcast is what unites the characters as they are very different people. One is an unemployed 70 year old actor, another is an unemployed Broadway director and Selena is a young design student. Thanks to molecular genetics we can perform analysis of the DNA components and we know the order of the nucleotide sequence, which would be the instructions to form a human being. The human being is made up of a large number of cells, and each of these cells has the same information according to the functions it performs. Therefore, each of these cells reads its information and acts. Knowing the composition of DNA is very useful in various issues present in our daily life.  My first concert was the green day concert in 2017 at the bicentennial stadium in La Florida, at that time green day was my favorite band, it is a rock group from california with 4 members. As I am from Chillán I had to travel on Friday to Santiago, to be able to go to the concert on Saturday, then I had to return on Sunday because I had an important presentation at school; my friends asked me to please not to scream so much at the concert to avoid having problems in my throat when I had the presentation at school, but I did not pay much attention to them. The country I would like to visit is New Zealand, my aunt lives there for about 15 years and I would love to go to see her. New Zealand is a very quiet and safe country, the weather is not as hot as here, and there is a lot of wind all summer long. With my mom we are planning a trip to New Zealand in the near future to see my cousins and my aunt, they came to Chile in 2010, so we haven't seen each other for a long time. I would also like to go to Queenstown because they say that is the adventure capital of New Zealand. It would be great to live for a while in New Zealand, being a country with so much security, the thefts are almost nonexistent and you should not be worried in the street that they will steal your cell phone or enter your home while you are not there, the government has handled very well the issue of the pandemic because there is no case of covid and have never had to wear a mask when going out.

 My favorite subject is biology, since I started studying it in high school I loved everything related to biology; I like it a lot because I can understand how our body works, plants, animals; how cells are responsible for everything to stay well in our body seems very magical to me. This time in college we have only studied cell biology which I find impressive, how we are made up of small cells and that each one has a function in our body. I have always liked science so I was very happy when I started taking biology in high school, the same thing happened to me in college. Cecilia Hidalgo is a very well known person in science, she was the first woman to receive the national science prize and is currently the director of the FONDAP Center for Molecular Studies of the Cell, at the School of Medicine.  As well as a full professor at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. I admire her very much because she shows me that a Chilean woman can be very successful in science. Dr.Hidalgo is a biochemist and the first doctor of science at the University of Chile. She did her post-doctorate at the National Institutes of Health and was a Guggenheim Fellowship recipient. She returned to Chile at the end of 1983, and has been a professor at the Center for Scientific Studies and the School of Medicine since 1984. Cecilia Hidalgo has more than 70 publications in international journals.  Biochemistry is presente in many areas: health, biotechnology, mining, agriculture, patents and intellectual property, forensic medicine, archeology, etc. Thanks to biochemestry it has been possible to create treatments for diabetes, heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, liver diseasen and cancer. And right now biocheminsts have played a very important role in the management of pandemic, thanks to their research it has been possible to create vaccines for Covid-19. The role of biochemists is fundamental because without their intervetion there would no diagnosis that would allow a projection of the disease and without this a cure, drug or treatment could not be created.
